The Department of Labor & Workforce Development has adopted regulation changes in Title 8 of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with the State Training and Employment Program (STEP), including the following:

8 AAC 87 has been amended by adding the following:

8 AAC 87.085 has been added to establish guidelines for the use of STEP grant funds for contingent services.

8 AAC 87.135 has been added to establish repayment requirements for former STEP participants when certain conditions apply.

8 AAC 87.230 has been added to limit administrative costs of state training and employment grants.
